Wild and Weightless

Editorial Design, Copywriting Personal Exploration—2018 Timeline: 7 weeks  Tools Used: InDesign, Photoshop Problem 1: There are over 30 million people in the US suffering from eating disorders. Although there is no cure, Wilderness and Adventure Based Therapy trips have proven to be effective treatment methods. The downside is, a majority of these trips come with a steep price tag and aren’t covered by standard insurance plans. Problem 2: Wild and Weightless is an organization that offers Wilderness and Adventure based therapy trips at no cost to its participants. Although they are helping to solve Problem 1, they currently do not have enough funding to launch as a non-profit and start providing services.  Solution: The solution I came up with was to create an informational magazine that can be used by Wild and Weightless for fundraising and promotional purposes. This magazine would be sent out to potential donors and clients in order to increase donations, awareness and support for their organization.
